 Waiting on the Lord? Praying? Things seem to be getting worse not better? Wondering what God is doing? Feeling discouraged? You are not alone it happens to all of us! But keep in mind; some of the Lord’s best work progresses in seemingly detrimental ways.
Here is an example: "The Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go" Exodus 11:10 Interesting... God hardened NOT softened! He used the unexpected to bring His ultimate deliverance. Things got worse before they got better. Does deliverance seem delayed? Remember this..." "When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether" Exodus 11:1 God was not aiming for a partial or temporary freedom. His work is thorough! Don’t short circuit the process or settle for less than His good and perfect goal. He is seeking to accomplish something authentic and complete! Finally... "and it shall be,when you go,you shall not go empty handed" Exodus 3:21b When the deliverance comes, when the victory is realized, you can be certain He will do more than just deliver, He will bring you out full! That is just the kind of God He is and the way He operates. Expect nothing less! Father, as I wait for my breakthrough help me to meditate on your goal not the present problem. Your wisdom, grace and Word will be my food. May Your glorious will be thoroughly accomplished! In the name of Jesus my strong Deliverer! Amen www.4HisBeloved.org
