It is natural for one to see the physical, but to see beyond that we are to seek the Lord for His insight, wisdom and guidance (Joshua 9:14) so that we will know whether to confront or to have compassion on that situation.

This story that you just shared also resonated in my heart as I too did the same during the week I volunteered at BVS. In my business and distracted time I too forgot and did not see behind some of those children brokenness! Behind those smiles and big eyes, were children hurting, longing for love and acceptance! Even though I did wear a full armor putting on the helmet of salvation and asking for a renewing of the mind with the mind of Christ, I still missed many teachable moments! Leave a Reply. |
